Planning your Celebration
How far in advance should I order?
I recommend reaching out at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance for most celebrations. Orders requested within two weeks may be subject to availability and rush fee.
What desserts do you offer?
I specialize in custom celebration cakes, cupcakes, cookies, lemon bars, brownies, and seasonal desserts. I don't currently offer decorated sugar cookies or cake pops.
What flavors do you offer?
Vanilla, chocolate, and my signature red velvet are some of the most requested flavors, but every order can be customized with a variety of cake flavors, fillings, and frosting.
Do you offer gluten free desserts?
Yes. I offer a selection of gluten dree desserts, including cakes and cupcakes. While I take great care to sanitize equipment and minimize cross contact, Hello Sweet Sugar is not a dedicated gluten free kitchen. If you have specific dietary concerns or allergies, please let me know so we can discuss the best option for your needs.
Pricing & Booking
What do cake and cupcakes typically cost?
Most custom celebration cakes begin around $175, while cupcakes begin around $55 per dozen. Larger cakes and more detailed designs are quoted individually based on your celebration.
What is the minimum cupcake order?
Cupcakes are available by the dozen. If you're interested in multiple flavors, I'm happy to discuss options available for your order.
How do I place an order?
Simply complete the contact form with your event details, and I'll be in touch to discuss your vision, provide a personalized quote and confirm availability.
Do you require a retainer?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your order date, with the remaining balance due before pickup or delivery. Most custom orders also include a proposal outlining the details of your order. Rush orders and seasonal collections may require full payment at the time of booking.
Pickup & Delivery
Where are you located?
Hello Sweet Sugar is a home bakery located in San Tan Valley, Arizona. All orders are prepared in accordance with Arizona's cottage food guidelines.
Do you offer pickup?
Yes. Pickup id available by appointment in San Tan Valley. Pickup instructions and timing will be provided before your scheduled pickup.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. Delivery is available based on location and availability. Delivery fees are calculated using delivery address and round-trip travel.
